Classroom Rule:

Use your Manners!

Below is a picture of the behavior clip chart used in the classroom.  Each child begins the day at ready to learn.  Throughout the day as students remember to use their manners they may move their clip up one color on the clip chart.  If they chose to use a behavior that is below the line (talking at an inappropriate time, laying down on the carpet, etc) they will be verbally asked to change their behavior.  If a child continues to use below the line behavior after the verbal warning they will need to move their clip down.  If a child uses bottom line behavior their clip will automatically need to be moved down (depending on the severity of behavior they may be sent to the Principal).  At the end of they day each child will record in their agenda where their clip ended up for the day so that family members can help reinforce using manners at school.
